This project was especially conceived for the residency program at the Nac Foundation in Rotterdam. The project is the result of the collaboration into a coreographer, a musician, a graphic designer and a group of young breakdancer representing the 3rd generation of immigrant in Netherland.

The starting point and source for the first part of the work was the study on paintings from the 17th Century, which portrait Dutch society in various aspects. These images represent the ideas of tolerance and multiculturalism and the complex relationship between the 'new' Dutch and the traditional society. Those paintings that could be a methaphor of the sense of community, are used to design 5 posters as artworks, but also invitations for the second part of the project.
